What’s On The Menu?

I spend most of my free, waking hours in my studio/bedroom grazing on mind-food regularly. I always have multiple projects at varying degrees of completion calling for my attention, not to mention the many projects yet begun. Most of this time is spent alone, with frequent visits with my granddaughter.

There are times I prefer the sounds of the wind chimes on my porch as the lone soloist singing along to the whir of my sewing machine, but most often I use the time alone in my studio to listen to audio and video files I stumble upon that catch my attention and are deemed worthy of consumption. Sometimes the media is educational …. sometimes inspirational … and sometimes it is just interesting to ponder and consider for further exploration or research.

Just this morning I fed my mind on a feast of a debate hosted by one of my favorite producers of tasty media, the crew at Tragedy & Hope. As I worked on making yards and yards of custom-made piping for a cushion re-do project, I thought how awesome it would be if more people had access to such a lively debate!

There was other media I wanted to feature as worthy of a listen, too. Mind-Food is a bit like a menu of media I am exploring, so it does not represent ideas I hold as either true or false. It may end up on this list because it simply provokes me to ask a better question. With that said, I’ll include the debate that triggered the creation of this space for sharing mind food here, but subsequent additions can be found by following the text links below.
